Glass drilling machines are the core equipment for glass processing. They are divided into three categories: vertical mechanical drilling machines, horizontal double-axis drilling machines, and laser precision drilling machines. The mechanical type relies on the opposite grinding of upper and lower diamond drill heads, combined with a water-cooling circulation system, to achieve hole opening with low-speed grinding. The air pressure controls the feed pressure, with thin glass at 0.18-0.3 MPa and thick glass at 0.4-0.46 MPa, avoiding glass cracking. The laser type relies on picosecond and femtosecond light beams for thermal melting to form micro-holes. The equipment is suitable for white glass, tempered glass, and high-aluminum cover plate glass, and is widely used in door and window glass, bathroom glass, vehicle glass, 3C screens, and photovoltaic panels for hole opening. The mechanical type is suitable for large-scale regular holes, while the laser type specializes in ultra-fine and irregular hole processing of 0.02mm.
